BlueWallet published a Bitcoin wallet release on Oct. 6, 2026 that adds wallet label import and export, address labels and an accelerator option for stuck transactions. NFA.

What holders receive

The update gives users direct control over their address data. Holders can import and export wallet labels in a standard format. They can also attach labels to receive addresses right in the app. This keeps transaction records organized without extra steps.

Accelerator for stuck transactions

When replace-by-fee bumping is not available, the app now offers a mempool accelerator option. Users select the feature to move a transaction forward. The release also fixes the Speedup and Cancel buttons for HD Bech32 wallets so those tools work as expected.

Watch-only edits

Holders with watch-only wallets gain new editing power. They can change the derivation path and master fingerprint. They can view the raw PSBT when sending from those wallets. These changes make monitoring and action simpler for users who rely on watch-only setups.

Import and coin control

The wallet import screen now suggests seed words as users type. This reduces errors during setup. The coin sheet received a rework so a frozen coin cannot be spent. That change prevents accidental moves and keeps control in the hands of the holder.

Reproducible builds and Electrum support

The release adds reproducible builds for the app. Users who verify software can confirm the code matches the published version. BlueWallet also supports a newer Electrum wallet file version. This keeps the app compatible with files created in current Electrum releases.

Ownership focus

Each addition centers on practical ownership. Label import and export let holders move their data between setups. Address labeling improves record keeping on receive addresses. The accelerator gives an extra route when standard fee bumps fail. Watch-only edits and coin control refinements give clearer command over what stays frozen or visible. Reproducible builds and updated Electrum support reduce friction when verifying or importing data. The Oct. 6, 2026 release keeps all changes inside the existing BlueWallet app so holders apply them without switching tools.
